Enrollment: 8 infants

Infants may be combined with toddlers in the early morning (7:30 am-8:30 am), and late afternoon (4 pm-5:30 pm) - the group size will not exceed 10 children with 2 adults; (state regulations allow for 5 infants to be supervised by 1 adult).

The Infant program will serve children ranging in age from four months up to 18 months (depending on the child's individual needs.) This program will offer children a safe and loving learning environment while meeting their basic needs of nutrition, sleep, toilet/diapering and developmentally appropriate activities. Parent involvement is very important to our program; please spend time in your child's classroom!

The infant program will offer activities in the areas of music, fine and gross-motor activities, visual stimulation, language arts (story time, conversation), tactile stimulation (touch and feel activities) as well as exposure to basic math, science and social studies topics. Teachers will communicate daily with parents to ensure that child, family and program needs and expectations are adequately addressed.

We will provide a basket for each child in which you can keep needed items. .

What you should bring:

Please label all of your child's items with their name or initials - including diapers, wipes, etca

•  Diapers and wipes (at least one week's supply) - we do accept and encourage the use of cloth diapers!

• Jug of purified water

• Breast Milk/Formula (You must provide one labeled bottle per 2 hours of attendance.)

•  Baby food (labeled with child's name and date)

•  Ointment (please complete the state required form obtained from the office)

•  Spare clothing (weather appropriate), which can be left at the center until needed

•  Bib, burping cloth, or pacifier

•  Blanket (to be taken home each Friday for cleaning)

Optional Items:

•  A soft toy for snuggling

We Provide:

•  Crib and mattress including mattress sheet

•  Age appropriate bowls and spoons

As required by state law, your child will be put on her/his back to sleep. If you require an exception to this regulation, please complete the appropriate form (available in the office).
